Core Values
Jesus and His Gospel
These are our greatest treasures. We value His Holy Spirity. We value His grace and mercy. We recognize all the characteristics of God - from His wrath to His mercy. We honor our holy & sovereign God!
The Bible
We value the Bible's instruction about believing God and how we are to follow Him. We love it that we have THE Book from God Himself that is without any errors. We love meaty doctrine (even the hard parts), and we love being Calvinists!
Authenticity
We are real people with real lives in real relationship with God and each other. We value broken people, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. We value authentic worship and a teachable spirit. WARNING: NO PERFECT PEOPLE ALLOWED!
Developing Men for Leadership
We value men because God has chosen them to lead the church and their families. We see men as significant role models. We value men right where they are in their journey, and then watching them transform into extraordinary men of God
Education
We value learning and study. We enjoy learning more about our King and His ways. Through education we are better equipped for leadership, service and maturity. When we learn to be good students we become better teachers.
Peacemaking
We value the unity of the Spirit in our church. We value keeping short accounts with one another. We are not about a spirit of complaining or pettiness. We don't keep secrets and we don't gossip. Instead, we are courageous problem solvers that build up our church family. We work hard for healthy, honest, and humble relationships.
Hospitality
We value YOU! We want you to feel accepted when we are together. We want to make fellowship comfortable for you. We want to be known by our warmth and love. Want to come over to our house?
Relational, Missional Evangelism
Evangelism is not a program. We seek to build His Kingdom one soul at a time. We are a sent people, responding to the call of Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to go into the world - starting with our own neighbors and networks. We value the hard work of evangelism. We trust God for the conversion and transformation of sinners.
Growth
Healthy things reproduce. We seek to grow both in spiritual maturity and in number. Clear vision and focused mission keeps us growing forward. Our goal is duplication - to be a healthy church that plants other healthy churches.
Creativity
We value being creative, out of the box, and innovative. lamroN eB yhW?
Excellence
Not perfection but excellence. We value better - not more. We are not about doing many things but doing a few things very well. Being surrounded by excellence brings out the best in people.
